For adventure, Little Tybee Island is a secluded, uninhabited nature preserve accessible by boat.  


 MOTORIZED VEHICLES & WATERCRAFTS- Motorized vehicle are not allowed onto the beaches. This includes automobiles, trucks, motorcycles, all-terrain-vehicles and similar motor driven vehicles and craft. 


 Yes, alligators have been spotted on Tybee Island, including on the beach and in the waters around it. While they are not a common sight on the beach and generally prefer freshwater, they can venture into brackish or saltwater areas for short periods. Officials advise the public to keep a safe distance and never approach or feed any alligator they encounter.

 Yes, you can drink on Tybee Island, but there are rules: you can drink on the beach as long as you don't have glass containers or beer kegs. Please no Drinking and Driving.
